Todd A. Norton

Todd Picture Todd A. Norton, a native Californian born in Los Angeles, was raised in Tarzana and attended high school in Woodland Hills, California. He is the grandson of the firm's founder, Samuel P. Norton, and nephew of now owner Jeffrey A. Norton.

At the University of California at San Diego, Todd A. Norton earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, receiving minors in both History and Economics. Thereafter, he attended the University of Santa Clara School of Law in Santa Clara, California, where Todd earned a Juris Doctorate degree. At Santa Clara, Todd was a Member of the Moot Court Program and served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Arthur A. Alarcon, United States Court of Appeal, Ninth Circuit, in Los Angeles.

Upon graduation, Todd joined the Century City law firm of Engstrom, Lipscomb & Lack, which enjoys a national reputation for their work with complex and major plaintiff's tort litigation. As an associate, Todd gained extensive experience in all phases of litigation while successfully handling several Federal and state court trials.

Todd Norton was an active member of the Los Angeles County and San Fernando Valley Bar Associations with past memberships in both the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel and Beverly Hills Bar Associations. He was admitted to practice before all of the courts in the State of California, the United States District Courts in California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Todd Norton passed away at age 42 in 2006.
